Bioprocessing Pilot Plant
The Bioprocessing Pilot Plant is a research facility within the College of Agriculture and Bioresources. The facility houses industrial-grade, pilot-scale scientific equipment designed to isolate and extract compounds from various plants and crops. Such compounds may be studied further at laboratory scale or applied in industry, and include biofuels, protein ingredients, starches, and natural health products. The facility is available for collaborative research projects with other academic units, research organizations and industry partners, and for toll processing.
