Prairie Aquaculture Research Centre

The Prairie Aquaculture Research Centre is a recirculating aquaculture system designed for both warm- and cold-water finfish species. The facility has culture tanks—30x360 litre and 36x75 litre in size—that can be used for digestibility and growth performance trials. Currently the facility is being used to conduct trials to evaluate Saskatchewan-grown feed ingredients, including flax, peas and canola, in trout, salmon and tilapia diets.
