Sensory Evaluation Laboratory

The Sensory Evaluation Laboratory, a modern, seven-station product evaluation and preparatory kitchen facility, is used for teaching, evaluation of products developed in undergraduate and graduate research projects, and new crop and variety evaluation. The facility, jointly operated by the Departments of Food and Bioproduct Sciences and Plant Sciences, is available for use by food companies, as is the sensory evaluation capability at the Saskatchewan Food Industry Development Centre.
