USask entrepreneurs won big at the Co.Launch finale

Innovation Enterprise sponsored Co.launch program finale took place in Saskatoon on May 28th and the following winners were announced: Melanie Morrison (USask faculty) and Patricia Tozatti (USask PhD student).

The Co.launch program is a province-wide accelerator for early-stage tech startups in the ideation and prototype phase.​ The program takes about 3 months to complete and in the latest co.hort finale (May 28th) the startups competed for an Innovation Enterprise funded $15,000 cash prize. Of the six finalists that pitched, two have USask founders, and two have USask students working for them. The two with USask founders took home all the prizes.


SnowHydro (Patricia Tozatti) – won a trip from SREDA to San Francisco, also was runner-up in the cash prize, taking $5K

BetterCart (Melanie Morrison, USask faculty) – won the other $10K
