Inspiring Impact

Universities play a vital role in nurturing, empowering, and unleashing the curiosity that will allow us to imagine a brighter, more sustainable future. To face humanity’s greatest challenges and opportunities we need to ask tough questions, push boundaries and invigorate impact for meaningful change with and for our communities.

TEDxUniversityofSaskatchewan 2025 celebrates the theme of Inspiring Impact. This February, faculty, staff and students will take to the TEDx stage to ask tough questions, push boundaries and inspire impact for meaningful change with and for our communities. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, this event will profile compelling stories of ambition, achievement, innovation and inspiration.

Together, these voices and visions will help USask be what the world needs.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxUniversity of Saskatchewan, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxUniversity of Saskatchewan event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

This independent TEDx event is operated under license from TED.
